With our operations at the Do\u00f1a Juana landfill, we are actively contributing to climate action (SDG 13) by capturing and destroying methane, one of the most harmful gases to the planet.     Our model brings tangible benefits to surrounding communities and strengthens local economic development. In line with SDGs 7 and 8, we promote affordable energy and decent work, creating a cycle in which environmental sustainability also leads to social progress. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    • \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t24% of the revenue from biogas extraction and destruction and 6% of the revenue from electricity generation is transferred to the Colombian Utilities Authority (UAESP) to be invested in social development projects for the communities surrounding the landfill.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    • \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWe create stable local jobs with technical and operational prospects that promote professionalization and strengthen regional rootedness.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
